While thumbing through a magazine the other day, I found a little note about Agua Fresca and how you could blend watermelon, cucumber, or cantaloupe with lime juice and a little sugar, then strain and serve over ice. That reminded me of an Agua Fresca recipe I made a few years back. It’s made a little differently–—I used strawberries and didn’t strain it. I also used honey instead of sugar.

Strawberry Fruit Dressing and Dip
The weather is warming up nicely, and when it’s warm outside, I tend to eat more fruit because it’s so refreshing. And when you serve fruit with a dressing or dip, it makes a great warm-weather snack or dessert! This Strawberry Fruit Dressing and Dip is big on strawberry flavor and really good served with strawberries or a mix of fresh fruit chunks—pineapples, sliced bananas, apple wedges…whatever fruit you like!

Bananas and fresh strawberries make a great combination in this summery muffin! They’re so moist and full of delicious chunks of fresh strawberries. I love how the sprinkling of coarse sugar gives these muffin tops a little sparkle and crunchiness, too! I just did a light sprinkling, but you can do a heavier sprinkle if you want a real sugary top.
