Happy Memorial Day Weekend to you! So far, we’ve been having beautiful weather! If you have any picnics or potlucks planned for the holiday weekend, this is a great recipe to keep in mind! Everyone loves deviled eggs, and these Ranch Deviled Eggs are a little different from traditional deviled eggs—they have some ranch dressing mix added into the yolk filling, which gives them a little zing and tastes wonderful!

This recipe makes 24 deviled egg halves. If you don’t have time to boil and peel the eggs, you can always buy a package of 12 hard boiled eggs, peeled and ready to use!
Ranch Deviled Eggs
RANCH DEVILED EGGS by NancyC
Makes 24 halves
12 hard boiled eggs, peeled
3 teaspoons dry ranch dressing mix, from a 1-oz. package
6 Tablespoons mayonnaise
2 teaspoons prepared yellow mustard or Dijon mustard
Dash of salt and pepper, to taste
Optional: Paprika, for sprinkling on top
Optional: Chopped fresh chives, for sprinkling on top (about 1 1/2 Tablespoons)
Cut hard boiled, peeled eggs lengthwise in half.
Remove the yolks from the egg whites and place yolks in a small to medium-size bowl; mash them with a fork.
Add the dry ranch dressing mix, mayonnaise, and mustard into the bowl with the mashed yolks. Add a dash of salt and pepper, if desired. Mix everything together well, until smooth and creamy.
Fill egg white halves with the egg yolk mixture.
Sprinkle with paprika and/or chopped chives, if desired, and refrigerate for 30 minutes to 1 hour before serving.

You’ll notice there’s a picnic basket in some of the photos—it’s called the Adventure Together Picnic Basket and it’s from maryandmartha.com. If you’re wanting a nice picnic basket, this one has an insulated waterproof lining, includes 4 plates, and has space for eating utensils, too! Perfect for any adventures or picnics you’ll be going on this summer! 🙂
I’ve always been a fan of deviled eggs—to me, a picnic is not a picnic without them! 🙂 What’s your favorite picnic food?
