Fruit Sweet Tea

Even though summer is fading into fall, we’re still going to be having some warm days for a while and this Fruit Sweet Tea is perfect when you want something refreshing to drink! It’s lightly sweet, and if you like your tea even sweeter, you can always add in some sugar or honey to taste. I prefer mine lightly sweet—this has just the right amount of sweetness for me!

Make this Fruit Sweet Tea with your favorite tea (I used a combination of green and black tea) and add some white grape juice, then slices of orange, lemon, and lime, plus peach slices or thin wedges. It’s best to use organic fruit if you can; otherwise make sure you wash your fruit well!

In addition to serving this tea at brunch, lunch or dinner, it would also make a great beverage for a casual party—or bridal or baby shower. It’s a nice option for guests who prefer something a little less sweet than punch. And the fruit makes it so pretty!

Makes 1 large pitcher

  • 4 cups of your favorite tea, brewed they way you like it and cooled (black tea, green tea, or herbal tea)
  • 2 cups chilled white grape juice
  • 1 organic lemon, sliced
  • 1 organic lime, sliced
  • 1 organic orange, sliced
  • 1 organic peach, cut into slices or thin wedges
  • 2 to 3 cups ice
  • extra citrus slices and/or sprigs of mint, if desired, for garnish

In a large pitcher, add cooled tea and white grape juice, and mix together.

Add half of the fruit slices, then the ice, and top with the rest of the fruit slices. Stir everything together.

Serve tea in large glasses over ice and garnish with a slice or two of citrus and/or sprigs of mint, if desired.

  1. That sounds wonderful! Dunkin Donuts used to make a wonderful fruit sweetened tea that I looked forward to each summer and they took it off their menu this year. I’ll have to try this and see if it’s a good substitute! Pinned.
