A friend of mine made this Chexicago Party Mix for a holiday open house one year. I could not stop eating it! I like the Original Chex Party Mix, but I think I like this even better! It’s called Chexicago Party Mix because it’s inspired by the sweet-and-salty caramel and cheese popcorn combination that’s popular in Chicago. I started mixing up my popcorn that way about ten years ago, and had no idea it was a favorite Chicago treat! I really like the sweet and salty (and cheesy) combination of flavors, so I have to say that I think Chicagoans have great taste when it comes to snacks! 🙂
