One of my favorite summer dishes is the classic deviled egg. In fact, if I had to choose between a deviled egg and a piece of chocolate, I think I just might choose the deviled egg! And that says a lot, because I’m a big chocolate-lover!
I found a great basic deviled egg recipe over at Favorite Brand Name Recipes.com. These Classic Deviled Eggs are your basic egg, mustard, and mayonnaise deviled eggs and they are really good! I ate three of them right after making them…I really do have a weakness for these! 🙂 So, next time you have a deviled egg craving or are planning a picnic or going to a potluck, be sure to try these out!

This is the way my Mom taught me to make deviled eggs 40 years ago!!
I just made some yesterday as a matter of fact. We never measure anything it’s all in how it tastes! LOL
I do use white pepper so it dosn’t show in the egg mixture though. Super Recipe.

Wow, these must be fantastic if they can go up against chocolate! I always loved eating the filling out of the deviled eggs! It is still my favorite part but hopefully I have matured past that!

I could eat about a million deviled eggs in one sitting — they are soooo good! If you’re feeling adventurous, smoked salmon and lobster are really tasty toppings for deviled eggs, too.

I loved d.eggs! I use miracle whip in mine though cause we like the sweeter taste to them! 🙂 I may have to boil some eggs up tonight!

I usually make them with mayonnaise–I guess because that’s how my mom always made them–but the miracle whip does give them a nice sweetness!
