Sufficient Grace

This verse is such a great reminder that God works through our imperfections and limitations. He can take our messes, mistakes, and weaknesses and make something beautiful and powerful out of them. He gives us the strength we need to get through whatever we need to get through and He works all things together for our ultimate good. All we have to do is “let go” and let God have control. And trust that He always knows what’s best!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose. ROMANS 8:28 NIV

Are any of you going through a difficult time? I hope this verse, Romans 12:12, encourages you to hang in there and not give up. Know that God is with you, that He loves you, and that He will see you through this. And continue to keep on praying!

The Proverbs 31 Woman

Prov31_25nm

This sounds like it could be a description of a confident woman in today’s world, doesn’t it? It was actually written in ancient times. This verse is found in The Bible in the Book of Proverbs, Chapter 31–a chapter that describes the characteristics of a godly woman. It’s amazing how these words are just as relevant to women today, thousands of years later, as they were when they were first written!

The Winter is Past

See! The winter is past; the rains are over and gone. Flowers appear on the earth; the season of singing has come….

I’m always glad to see Spring arrive every year, with warmer weather and pretty flowers blooming! It’s a season of new life and new beginnings. All the beauty in nature at springtime reminds me of another verse, Psalm 33:5: The earth is full of the goodness of the Lord. (KJV)

Hope you are enjoying a beautiful first day of Spring!

Something New

ncLRIsa43_18_1nm

This is what God says…”Forget about what’s happened; don’t keep going over old history. Be alert, be present. I’m about to do something brand-new. It’s bursting out! Don’t you see it? There it is! I’m making a road through the desert….” ISAIAH 43: 16, 18-19 (MSG)

Past mistakes, problems, failures, or difficulties don’t need to cast a shadow on our present or future…God has a plan to do something fresh and new in our lives! We just need to keep our focus on Him, follow His leading, and let Him work out His perfect will and plan for us in His perfect timing!
