We always have hope because God is working for our good in all things. That’s so encouraging! Even though it’s hard to see and understand how God is working when we’re going through difficult and challenging times, it doesn’t mean He’s not involved…He is always working, always in control.

I like how this verse (in the King James Version above) is also expressed in THE MESSAGE: Meanwhile, the moment we get tired in the waiting, God’s Spirit is right alongside helping us along. If we don’t know how or what to pray, it doesn’t matter. He does our praying in and for us, making prayer out of our wordless sighs, our aching groans. He knows us far better than we know ourselves, knows our pregnant condition, and keeps us present before God. That’s why we can be so sure that every detail in our lives of love for God is worked into something good. (The Message (MSG). It’s amazing to think that God knows each and every one of us better than we know ourselves. And He has a special, unique purpose for us that He is continuing to work out in our lives as He works all things together for our good.
