I received some candy products from Goetze’s Candy company; all opinions expressed are mine.
I’ve been a fan of CaramelCreams® for a long time—maybe you have been too! If you’re not familiar with Caramel Creams®, they’re made by the Goetze’s Candy Company, which was founded in Baltimore in1895. So Goetze’s Candy has been making candy in America ever since! They developed the much-loved Caramel Creams® in 1918 and they started making another popular candy, Cow Tales®, in 1984.
You’ve probably seen Caramel Creams® for sale in tray packs, like the one below. They’re also available individually wrapped in 4-oz. bags.

Over the years, Goetze’s has added additional Caramel Creams® flavors to their line, like Brownie Caramel Creams® and Oreo® Caramel Creams®—and they’re really yummy!
And guess what? You can make some very, very easy cinnamon rolls with the original Caramel Creams®! They’re similar to those easy TikTok cinnamon rolls you may have seen on social media, but they have a layer of caramel and chopped pecans on the bottom that add a great chewy, caramelly sweetness to the rolls! This is what you could call a “semi-homemade” recipe, because you use a can of refrigerated cinnamon rolls—make sure you use a can of 8 rolls. I saw a recipe for this on Goetze’s website, but I changed it up a little. The photo below shows what the cinnamon rolls look like before you put them in the oven…

And here’s what they look like after they’re baked…

Caramel Creams® Cinnamon Rolls
CARAMEL CREAMS® CINNAMON ROLLS by NancyC, adapted from Goetze’s Candy
Makes 8 cinnamon rolls
1/3 to 1/2 cup chopped pecans
24 Caramel Creams®, each cut into fourths (you’ll need 2 tray packs of 10 and part of a 3rd tray pack)
3/4 cup plus 2 Tablespoons heavy whipping cream or evaporated milk
1 (12.4-ounce) can refrigerated cinnamon rolls (package of 8)
Preheat oven to 375˚F. Grease or spray the bottom of a 7 x 11″ baking pan.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans and cut up caramels on the bottom of the pan, forming an even layer.
Open the can of cinnamon rolls and arrange on top of the pecan and caramel layer (save the icing for after the rolls are baked). Pour the heavy whipping cream over the tops of all the cinnamon rolls, fully coating them.
Bake at 375˚F for 23 to 25 minutes, until golden brown. Let the cinnamon rolls cool for a few minutes, then drizzle the tops with the icing from the can. Serve warm. When serving, scoop some of the caramel-pecan mixture on the bottom of pan to serve with each cinnamon roll.

Be sure to scoop up some of the caramel-pecan mixture on the bottom of the pan to serve with each cinnamon roll! Are you a Caramel Creams® fan and what kind of caramel-flavored treats do you like to make?

Beautiful! I don’t think there is any aroma in the world I love more than the scent of cinnamon rolls baking. I can smell them now!

Cinnamon rolls sure do smell wonderful when they are baking! Too bad we can’t capture that aroma somehow so it will last longer! 🙂
