Book Review: Day by Day Guided Journal

I received a review copy of this book; all opinions expressed are mine.

If you love journaling, here’s a new guided journal, Day by Day: 100 Ways to Capture Memories & Create Your Own Story by popular social media influencer Jess Conte (hardcover; Worthy Publishing). The creative and helpful prompts in this journal make it fun to record your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. And if you’re new to journaling, they’ll be especially helpful to you as you capture memories and events that make up your unique story.

At the beginning of Day by Day, there are some tips on how to make the most of this journal, whether you write in it every day, every week, or every once in awhile when inspiration strikes. Throughout the journal, there are a variety of artsy prompts, lists, fill-in-the-blanks, and other activities to help you share what’s on your heart. There are pages you can doodle on, color, create vision boards, and other fun exercises to get your thoughts and ideas flowing. There are even pages to record your bucket list, goals, habit tracking, and more.

This journal is perfect for taking a “me time” break from your busy day. And since it has some pages on self-care (getting enough sleep, recharging, etc), it could help make your days even better! I also like that this journal has some inspiring quotes sprinkled throughout the pages, like: “You don’t need to take all the steps, just the next one.” (BOB GOFF) and “There are far, far better things ahead than any we leave behind.” (C. S. LEWIS)

All in all, the Day by Day guided journal is a great way to reflect on and record the thoughts, special moments, and events you want to remember. You could say it’s more than just a journal—it’s really a keepsake you’re creating each time you add to it…with pages filled with your own one-of-a-kind story! 🙂
