I took a picture of these peonies I had dried last summer. I just bundled them up and hung them upside down to dry. And they made a wonderful bouquet that I still enjoy looking at! Dried flowers remind me of something lasting, and I love them as much as I love fresh flowers.
As we celebrate those we love on Valentine’s Day with flowers and hearts and chocolates, I’m also reminded of the lasting love that God has for each of us. It’s a love that never quits! Think about the person or people you love most in your life and multiply your love for them by infinity–that’s how much God loves you. An unfathomable amount! I hope being reminded of that makes your Valentine’s Day a special one!
I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. JEREMIAH 31:3 (NIV)
Beautiful peonies (love them) and beautiful words…Happy Valentine’s Day to you!

Love the verse too, Liz. I also like the dried peonies. As a child I remember my Mom picking them from our garden. Thanks for sharing Nancy, and Happy Valentine’s Day!

Yes, it’s really easy–if you have a peony bush, you’ll be able to make lots of really pretty dried flower arrangements this summer!
