    • Thanks for stopping by my blog! I lived in KC in the late 80’s to early 90’s before I moved to work for DaySpring. I used to shop at several different KC Christian bookstores when I lived up there. Nice to hear from you, Emily! 🙂

  2. I couldn’t seem to comment on your post about autumn wreaths or pumpkin recipes. I made your Pumpkin Cream Cheese Bread this weekend and it was absolutely gorgeous! I have been searching for a recipe like this for many years after tasting something similar made by an American friend of my mum’s, she had a cinnamon glaze on hers too, which I think really makes it. So, thankyou so much! Your blog is wonderful and I am now following you. Have a great week. Love Linda x

  3. Hi Nancy! Just wanted to drop a note to say I recently found your blog and have made three of your different banana breads in the past month (using up old bananas and leftover ingredients from the holidays). I love your recipes and the sort of no-fuss elegance to your recipes with pretty basic ingredients, but gourmet results! Thank you for sharing!

  4. Hey Nancy – I’m English so we do all our measuring in grams/ounces etc, I was wondering whether there’s a certain size of ‘cup’ you use?! (My scales are also broken so would be useful to use cups to measure anyway!) Last time I tried it all went horribly wrong!! Thanks, Zoe x

  5. Hi Nancy,
A friend of mine shared your Lemon-Zucchini Loaf with Lemon Glaze with me and it looks delicious! She said it was yummy, I can’t wait to try it today because I have an abundant supply of zucchini from my garden (my 8 zucchini plants yielded so far to-date since April – 45!). I’m so happy I have another receipe for zucchini bread! Thank you for your wonderful blog…I can’t wait to explore it – cuz I saw banana bread (my all time fav!)
    Thank you,
    Norleen

  9. I’ve recently switched my food blog over to be self-hosted which I hope will make it more user-friendly in the future. As a result, if you were following Can’t Stay Out of the Kitchen via email, WordPress, or using RSS feeds through Google Reader or some other way, you are no longer subscribed. If you wish to continue receiving future posts from my blog you will need to re-subscribe. Sorry for the inconvenience, Teresa.

    • Hi Teresa, I’ve been thinking about doing that myself! Please let me know how you like self-hosting, and what you think the pros and cons are–that would be very helpful to know! I will check out your new site–thanks for letting me know! 🙂

I just found your blog and got lost looking at all the wonderful treats you’ve made. I can’t wait to try some of them. Also, I like all of your cook book references. I don’t typically use them since there are so many and I often don’t know where to start but I found your blog helpful. Thanks so much.
