Sweet and Sassy Chili

Chili makes the perfect meal during the cold-weather seasons. And it’s an easy menu item for game day parties or tailgating. After all, who doesn’t love chili? This Sweet & Sassy Chili has a mildly spicy flavor, but it also has a little sweetness too, with a touch of brown sugar mixed in. And it tastes great with some diced peached on top! Of course, you’ll still want to top your chili with some sour cream, corn chips, and cheddar cheese, but the addition of those diced peaches give the chili a great sweet-and-salty flavor!

This recipe is from Mary & Martha , and I took some photos of this chili with all the fixins’ for them, served up in one of their Fresh Joy Bowls—part of a 3-piece dinnerware set. This bowl is the perfect size for a hot bowl of chili and it also works great for desserts and snacks too! The smaller bowls holding the chili toppings are from the Simply Elegant Dip Bowls set—they’re perfect for any kind of toppings or snacks and are especially convenient when you’re setting up any kind of food or dessert bar.

Let this chili help warm you up on a cold day, or enjoy it while you’re watching the next big game! Most of the cooking time is in the slow cooker, but you can cook it overnight on low the day before if you want—so you’ll have it ready when you need it!

I love the idea of serving this chili with a hot cinnamon roll—what a great idea! Do you have any special ways you like to serve chili?
