Mango-Orange Smoothie

It looks like this may turn out to be a really hot summer! It will actually be getting up in the 90’s where I live in the next few days—yikes! When the weather gets that hot, I crave something cool and refreshing…like this Mango-Orange Smoothie!

It’s surprisingly thick and creamy…surprising because it doesn’t have any Greek yogurt in it. The frozen banana slices add to the creaminess, along with a little almond milk (you can’t tell by the taste that this smoothie is dairy-free!). Another thing I love about this smoothie is that it has just the right amount of sweetness, and it’s sweetened by honey. I also really like the mango-orange-banana combination—these flavors go so well together!

If you like adding garnishes to your smoothies, you could garnish this one with an orange slice. Do you have any favorite non-dairy smoothies you like to make?
