Dogwood trees are starting to bloom where I live and their blooms are so pretty! The Redbud trees are also blooming and their rich color looks so striking against the other trees that are just starting to produce small leaves.
I decided to pick a few blooming branches and make a bouquet—something I had wanted to do last spring, but by the time I thought about doing it, the blooms were past their prime. So here’s how my “Branch Bouquet” turned out—I just combined 2 Dogwood branches with 3 Redbud branches and I think the different blooms look so pretty together! You could use other kinds of blooming branches, too—Forsythias, Pear Blossoms…whatever type of blooming branches that are growing around you. It brings a nice touch of the spring outdoors into your home or office.
You could also use this idea to make a pretty Easter centerpiece for your table!

I clipped the branches from the tree about 2 feet long, I think, then adjusted the heights as I was arranging them. You can trim to whatever length works best for your vase. If you have a pretty tall vase, you may want to use even longer branches!

What a beautiful bouquet to take to Fiesta Friday! It can be the centerpiece! Unfortunately, we don’t have anything blooming here… my tulips are finally coming up, but they’re only about two inches tall right now! I’m hoping to see some flowers maybe in a week or two! In the meantime, I’ll live vicariously through you.. ❤

This is just beautiful!! We had beautiful trees out in front of my childhood home with white flowers at the start of spring. We also had a lot of lilac bushes because my dad loves them!

I wish I had such beautiful trees near me. I always love the look of a few blooms and branches on my table or hallways, bringing a little color and nature to the indoors. Where I grew up my garden had 2 American dogwood trees (they are very rare in Australia) and I loved their blossoms and scent. Thanks for sharing this photo- it reminds me of my childhood garden! Happy spring. margaret

The white blossoms are from Dogwood trees and the pinkish-red are from Redbud trees! But you can make a bouquet with whatever flowering branches you have near you!
