Spring Colors

I love the colors in this photo I took of hydrangeas, my favorite flower! I thought I’d call out some of these colors and make a spring color palette! These would be great colors to decorate with…or even create artwork or crafts with.

Hope you are enjoying the arrival of spring! 🙂

  1. So beautiful Nancy!! I have tried for about five years straight to get hydrangeas to grow in my yard. We have clay soil, and hydrangeas don’t like it! I have one little bush that for two years has been hanging on.. And I’ve been babying it and feeding it acid.. Anything it wants..
    Thank you for sharing!!

    • You’re welcome! 🙂 I don’t have a backyard right now, but when I did, I never had success with growing a hydrangea bush, either 😦 I am determined to plant one in my next backyard and get it to grow! Fortunately, I have several friends who give me hydrangeas from their bushes every so often, so I still get to enjoy them even though I don’t have my own bush!

      • I wish I could send you two my hydrangeas. I have 5 big bushes, different colors, ranging from pink, blue, red, and purple. That’s one plant I have no problem growing, somehow. My fave is the Nikko blue. Even though it’s called blue, sometimes the flowers have a little lavender tinge, much like the picture here. Beautiful, Nancy!

        • All your hydrangea bushes sound beautiful! I have not see a red hydrangea before, but I’m sure I would love it, because I have loved all the colors of that flower I have seen! 🙂

    • Thanks, Bobbi! 🙂 I think the colors would be great for pillows and accents, too–I like to have neutral furniture and brighten it up with color!
